How does SHARP’s Photocatalyst achieve superior efficay?

How does Photocatalyst work?

Photocatalytic reaction is a reaction that takes place in the presence of:

1. Ultraviolet rays in the sunlight.

2. The photocatalytic material.

3. Oxygen molecules in the air.

4. Water vapour molecules in the air.

This reaction results in the generation of reactive oxygen ions (such as superoxide anion radical and hydroxyl radical). Those ions interact with germs and organic odours on the surface and continuously suppress them.

SHARP's Photocatalyst

While other photocatalyst products base their active component on Titanium oxide (TiO2), SHARP’s Photocatalyst is based on the more effective Tungsten oxide (WO3).

How does photocatalyst work?.

SHARP Photocatalyst is supplied in a liquid form and can be sprayed over any surface to create:

• Anti-bacterial effect.

• Anti-fungal effect.

• Deodorizing effect

• Removing harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
